BB Spacers and BB Mounted Chain Guards?

Hi there!
One quick quesiton, it is ok to have effectivly 4 spacers on a external style bottom bracket?
see pic:
you can see there that i have on the right three very thin metal spacers with the combined width of a normal plastic spacer, the bb mounted chain reatainer and also a normal plastic bb spacer.
on the left you can see that i have a single plastic spacer.
is this safe?

not really.
if adding a BB mount device you remove on spacer.
but it does also depend on BB width and cranks."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Should i therefore remove the spacer from the non drive side? or left in the picture?0

from where you fitted the device.
but agian it does really depend on more info as that presumes that it was fitted correctly in the first place.

What cranket is it? Have you got the fitting instructions with it? If you install a BB chain guide or mech, you remove a 25mm spacer.0

so, according to the park tool link you supplied, for the 68mm bb: one spacer non drive side and one drive side and then the bb mounted chain guide.0
