I am about to start using clipless pedals and am interested in trying the time allroad pedals, as they have a platform one side that means they can be used with ordinary shoes.
Can any one tell me if they can be used with shimano spd shoes, or do I have to buy specific time shoes to go with them?
Regards Ray

no any spd mtb shoes with recessed cleats will do. i use pearl izumi mtb shoes with time atac pedals and they fit perfectly. allroad pedals are atac one side, any two bolt spd should do.

    Thanks Rake for that info.
  • Hi Ray, so are the Allroad pedals compatible with Shimano SPD's? How are they faring.
Do the pedals eat into the shoe sole? I'm about to go clipless.

    Thanks!
