I may have to renew my braided hoses on my Mono mini's, well the rear one anyway and shorten the front one. The back one is a little short for my new build, and it has taken a battering.

I am more than happy doing it I was just wondering how re-usable the parts are i.e the olives and brass hose end inserts, the brakes are about 2 years old.

Will I get away with it? bearing in mind they are 2 yrs old and never been removed.

Cheers. :)

download the manual it covers it.

generally Hope connections are fully reusable.

  • They are reusable ive found cutting the olives in half and making collets out of them helps as the pipe can be a bit big.
