Square taper crank arms

Hi, are all of the square taper holes in a crank arm the same size? Like the hole that the bottom bracket slots into.

    no and no.

    but you seem to be asking about arms and BBs?

    you must also get the correct ones to work with the correct parts.

    As in the hole in that. My bb's fine I'm just looking for a new left crank arm and wondered whether the fit is universal (for square tapers). :)

    there are 2 different fittings. MTBs tend only to see one version though BUT the square can be 45 Degrees out.
