Shallow I know but I am thinking of painting the rotors on my bike (obv. not the part that is in contact with the pads :) )

Just wondered if anyone had done this? I was going to use high temperature engine paint

Be fine, something like Hammerite would be fine, i wouldn't be to fussed about masking off the braking surface perfectly, the pads will soon clear any over spray.

you want to spray it really for best finish, matt black is best colour for radiating heat not that it would make a huge amount of difference.

mask the braking surface then clean any glue residue wth petrol or paraffin ... then again, the paint will soon be worn off by the pads.

    post some photos when done.
