Hello everyone.
I am new to the forums so please be gentle with me.
also I am sorry if this question has been asked and answered before.
I am mainly after tips for post ride cleaning and chain care.
I ride at least three to four times a week.
I have been riding on muddy and gritty off road trails in wet weather, which is unavoidable this time of year.
I have been told that you only need to clean your bike and chain every month or so depending on use, and to re lube your chain either every so many miles or as needed.
with my main ride including 30 Min's on the road to get to the trail I ride on, salt is obviously a big issue. even when it isn't, I have been advised that after a ride in the wet, it is best to use a rag to dry excess water off the chain and then re lube after it is fully dry. is this correct or am I re lubing my chain to often?
any help you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks
Paul
