Hi ya i have a boardman fs comp
Im wondering if there is anything which could improve the performance, nothing ridiculously expensive but is their anything on the bike which is of poor quality and could do with upgrading.
In my opinion i like the bike but if there is anything which will improve it, i would love to know!
Thanks
Elliot

Where do you think it is lacking in performance ?
As above work on your fitness, strength and skill level and if you are riding the bike to the max it will become apparent if you need to upgrade anything.0 -
Wheels if you want to, tyres if you want to, finishing kit if you find it uncomfortable, but nothing that is an absolute must get rid of.And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

I really like the bike i just have a bit of spare cash and was wondering if anything could be upgraded, i was looking for the weakest thing which could help performance0

Ride it a bit more and see if you can identify anything. Is an evenly, and well specced package.0

Nothing really needs upgrading! You can upgrade purely for tart value and colour cordination if you want. Save your money, maybe change tyres if your not happy with them.
I have done upgrades to my bike as it was a £230 V braked Carrera Vulcan, it now has the same wheels as the £500 Fury and discs all round and will soon have new forks.
Don't really need new forks, as they do a ok job, and i probably am not hitting their limits with my riding ability yet, even for crappy suntours.0 -
It seems from the postings above, your best upgrade could be best spent on an MTB weekend with fellow MTB buddies..
I reckon you'll have a blast putting the bike through its paces, you'll get home buzzing with excitement and a whole lot fitter, hence the best upgrade money can buy.Live to ski
