Rock Shox recon - adjustment

Thanks to the person here who told me about the instructions for this, perfect.

Now please may I ask. I use my mountain bike for commuting.

I have the Recons, I think with some suspension you are able to either adjust the travel or in the case of this one, replace the insides, struts! (shows how little I know) so that the travel increase.

Help.

But why do you want to? If you're not getting full travel then sort that out, you shouldn't need more than what you've already got (100mm?) for riding on roads.

I think Nick is asking, what exactly is your question. You are making a statement. (Or repeated the same one twice before Mr Pedantic corrects me)
Do you want to know:
Can they be adjusted?
How do you adjust them?

And as Balls asked, why would you want to?

As a "non" cyclist cyclist the only way I can desccribe it is.

I have Rock shox tora air on one bike and Recons on the other, the "Toras" are, well, higher, meaning I don't have to lean so far forward, with a bad back, I prefer to sit up, and have had to add an extension to raise my wingbars another 2".

Does that make sense, I wondered if the sus could be adjusted.

I would suggest riser bars as a cheaper, simpler option.
