Bash guard/ring advice needed!

Hi guys.
Just a quick question really. I'm looking to get a bash ring to fit my 44tooth crankset (without sacrificing my big ring). There are a few that I've found that fit a 44t ring, but I've also found one that I prefer to fit a 46t ring.I'm wondering will this fit my chainset? I assume you can still bolt it on easy enough since it still uses the same holes, but will the extra width cause any problems with the deraileur?
Any help will be appreciated cheers folks!

Why go for the 46 when you can get a 44? Or are you planning on getting a 46t ring?0

Mostly because it was about half the price! But it also looks nicer too.0

Buy an MRP XCG guard. Seriously.0

you need a BIG RING bash (see CRC) very few out there that keep the big ring."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Ask yourself how much you really use the big ring.
I've asked myself that question and the answer is, not enough and I may as well ditch the big.0
