Drop outs too small in new frame and paint in threads

I tried fitting my wheels (hope pro 2 hub) in to my new On One frame and they won't quite slot in, probably less than a millimeter too tight. Should I file them out to the right size or will I end up with rusty drop outs? I guess the paint would eventually get worn away anyway.
Also I need to clear the thread in the mech hanger and ISCG chain guide mounts, what size threads would they be?

  • Yea its probably run off from the painting. IIRC I had to do that on my NS.

Just be very careful, On-One paint isn't very good. If you catch it wrong, you'll chip it up the dropouts.

I *think* iscg tabs are m6.

If you mean the mech hanger thread that the rear derailleur bolts to, I *think* its a 10mm bolt.

worth checking the bolt sizes though!
  • Mech hanger is M10 x 1.0
