Hi All
Just had a new exposure maxx d3 light for my bars and looking a lightweight torch to velcro/strap to my helmet.

See this thread for much discussion and advice:

A 501b or 502b plus this mount will sort you, but you'd have to get 18650 cells and a charger to go with it too.

(Only significant difference between the 501 and 502 is the design; they have the same internals).0 -
So i would need following -

I use the 2500mah trustfires, been perfectly reliable. The 3000mah are not so good, seem to limit current output.0

Awesome mate.
What worries me is that i have rechargable batts for my camera and they are useless. How long do these things last, do you have to dishcharge them.
Also i presume i should get x4 of them ?

1 x 18650 per torch. Don't discharge them... the ones linked are 'protected' anyway to stop them running flat. You only need one per torch, but I have 1 + spare of the Trustfire cells for each of mine, and they are all still going strong after 9 months use.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

Beware, it's a squeeze to get protected cells in that ultrafire charger, though they do just fit. The protection board adds a mm or so to one end.0
