I have not thought of this but someone must know, my bikes like most have suspension on the front, Rock Shox, when you ride in snow would you have them locked off.
AQlso does anyone have any knowlege of the Rock Shox Recon, on the bottom it has the usual fast/slow rebound, a red cap, but you can unscrew it and take it out, there is what appears to be an allen key in the cap! (knowing me I broke it and it shouldn't come right out)

I can't see any reason to lock suspension in snow, far from it.
It will help track the wheel over icy ruts etc.0 -
yes the rebound adjuster is removable and can be used to set the internal floodgate (if fitted). Its all in the manual."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
