mmmbop rear brake mount could it be bent

Have just installed the brakes on my mmmbop and have noticed that the rear wheel catches on the disk quite badly. Instead of being centered in the caliper the disk sits on the outside pad so spacers wont work with this either
I have read that a few people have had this problem due to manufacturing defects so I would like to know how do can I tell if its bent? Is there some measurements I can take to check this and is there anyway to fix it short of beating it with a hammer.

nevermind I'm an idiot, just had to loosen the mount and move it around now it only rubs a little in one spotand im sure it will be ok once bedded in.0
