are spd's or toe clips essential for cross country racing?this is a friends opinion,i thought toe clips were well outdated..

toe clips are a thing of the devil.
but you can use what you want.
Personally Flats or SPDs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
