This is my bike. Very pleased with it I have ridden several 100 mile sportives with no discomfort, very fast and good handling on fast downhill descents

The wheels are the assaults and are good value for the money strong and light good looks too.
Tried zipps, mavics but thought these looked the best
As with any deep sectioned wheels make sure you grip the bars tightly on a windy day!its only money0 -
I had a set of Zipps (808 rear, 404 front) but recently sold the rear... Fantastic wheels but hardly ever used the rear as I use a powertap for racing/TTs and being tubular, I didn't use them for everyday riding...
These could be what I'm looking for for 'best'...0 -
i never understand how these wheels make you faster?
surely you would loose time if you had side winds?

i have never tryed them but i dont understand the science in how they make you go faster,
and surely they slow you down on side winds, or your using more energy trying to keep in a striaght line,
I want some i think they look cool, i just dont understand how they work0 -

You would probably be best googling 'wheel aerodynamics' or something. A crosswind only really causes steering problems, not necessarily slowing you down.0 -

Thinking of removing decals from the wheels noticed a few other bikes with the wheel decals removed and the look good. should I ?its only money0

Had a picky moment today and finaly removed decals from the wheels.Looks a lot better IMO showes the frame better ,less fussy.

Looks much better without the decals. Although it needs some red to make it faster
