I am after a waterproof wallet for my iPhone4. I will be carrying it my rear pocket so do not need for navigation but obviously still need it to receive 3g/2g and also track my progress via cyclemeter.

Any good recommendations?

...not sure an overpriced leather zip-up would cut it

Just wondering - why do you need a waterproof ANYTHING for your iPhone? Are going swimming with it?

I have used my iPhone almost daily for the past 4 years (in my back pocket) with no case at all - and have had no problems. Just upgraded to an iphone 4 - and just have a standard case to protect it, but nothing waterproof.

Most people I've seen with phones use a zip-lock back. If they are good enough for body parts, they are good enough for a phone!

Lezyne do a zipped/waterroof (ish) tool bag that is perfect size for back pockets for about £7.

My Iphone always goes in it and GPS etc. works fine still.

most marine shops and outdoor shops do these ( i got mine from Tkmaxx for £3 though) 100% waterproof and you can still use your touchscreen like one of these

  • aquapac, my last one has only just given up the ghost after 4 years and three different phones.

Whatever you get you want to check that it is actually waterproof!

Great bit of kit cheaper on the bay when I purchased mine.

+1. The small is only just wide enough though especially if there is a bumper case on the iPhone. However, I am no longer taking my iPhone out on rides since I lost mine out of my back pocket. £600.00. Best get a cheap pay-as-you-go just for emergencies. The Jersey Bin may have facilitated its exit from my pocket to the road.
