GT Force change of forks

I'm really not getting on with the standard fit Fox Float R 140mm that came with the bike compared to the Reba's I have on my hardtail they feel cheap, flexy and clunky. I just don't have any confidence in them and the let the whole bike down which is faultless in comparison.
I've had them checked over and no faults with them so I'm thinking of changing them out for some Lyriks Solo air however these have 170mm travel. I've tried to find what the frame is warrantied to without success. I'm looking at the Lyrik as opposed to the Revs for the bigger stantions as I'm an heavier rider. Anyone know if I'm able to fit these forks?

What about getting some Lyriks or Fox 36's and lowering them to 140mm?0

I didn't realise the Lyriks are all travel forks. not interested in Fox forks, my first experience of them has soured my opinion.0

I think you can adjust Lyriks otherwise just get a U-turn version and keep it at 140mm0

I've just looked on Rockshox support and you can fit travel adjusters spacers to the Lyrik Airs. Would like coils but too heavy even for the firmest spring. Cheers problem solved.0
