I picked this up today - I know nothing about it other than its a single speed, made by Phillips and it has what I'm told is a War Office tag omn the top tube which says ERDE 359 WA29703.
The back wheel is in the wrong way round and the chain and brake blocks are in a bag in the kitchen!
Does anyone have any info about it? There isn't much on the net that I can find.

  • Well, turns out its a 1939-1945 Phillips Mark V* Military Roadster (made for the British Army).

The * denotes it has conventional brakes rather than a coaster brake.
