Since liverpool arent in it I've adopted spurs as my team in the champs league. I've always liked spurs ever since watching this match of the yad.

we always seem to have good games against them.

Gonna be tough agin inter though.

This one will be won and lost in midfield. Has promise.

I'll be watching the other channel though and getting behind United's new hope, Chiquarita!

What a goal that was by Gareth Bale.

As a gooner I've been rather enjoying this, then the lad goes and bangs in a goal like that and wakes up all the spurs fans.

  • we have looked slighty better in the second half , mind you it could not be any worse  the italian job all over again !

To be fair, he's a long-time Spurs fan so he's used to the roller-coaster ride.
  • oh the ups and downs of being a spurs fan

It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low and we at Spurs set our sights so high, so very high that even failure will have in it an echo of glory :P or something close to that. Bill Nicholson.

Having them whistling for the ref to blow up at the end was nice after almost crying in the corner of the room at 4 0 & down to 10 after not that much time. Bale made it look much better & they were all quality goals but we were taught a proper lesson tonight.

Still second in the group, should pick up points against Bremen & Twente so we have a good chance of getting through. Inter at the Lane a bit quicker than I would like but I can't see them doing that again. Or I hope they don't.

3 nil in the second half 8) No, I wouldn't have come on here for a few days had we been spanked.

I missed the first half and only saw the second so thought it was great...

Phenomenal performance from Bale, I knew he was good but that took the biscuit. Just shows that if Spurs get off to a better start at the lane that Inter's defence is clearly not watertight!

Really hope that Spurs can hold on to Bale, his value must have gone up by a couple of million quid last night.

Stewie. My mate was all melancholy at 4-0 down so I just reminded him of the demolition job that Barca did on United back in the early days of the CL when we were just finding our feet.

It's a very steep learning curve - the first lesson is that if you come out of the blocks slow, then you'll get your pants pulled down and probably not get 'em back up in time.

3pts for United as well... solid performances from a good handful of players last night. Nani and Anderson were on another level and Evra looked to have the bit between his teeth once more.

    Euro Disney tonight...
