Is the Linking Trail between Lee and Cragg Quarry open yet?

Hi there

Me and the missus are heading to Lee Q tomorrow and we were wondering whether the linking trail from the top of Lee to Cragg is open yet?

Went there a couple of weeks ago for a snoop and was nearly dived bombed by a Black Hawk!

Hope the choppers in Afghanistan aren't armed solely with bags of stones (although I wouldn't be surprised... :roll: )

    No, they're still laying it. Helicopter finishes today but will be back in a week or so for finishing off, will be another couple of weeks at least.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    It was virtually all laid last weekend, but it's soft gravel and hard going! Felt like riding through treacle!! Needs compacting or time to settle as it's only a thin layer of hardcore on a fabric matt...

    The chopper was up there again yesterday so I can only assume it's still a work in progress...
