Specialized seat post with suspension rotates

I have a Specialized Globe Sport 07 and recently the saddle has started to twist around with little resistance. The seat post has suspension and the top part seems to be rotating while the actual seat post is stationary. Can the top part be tightened up or do you think it is broken? Any suggests on how I can isolate the problem?

If I have to buy a new seat post is it worth getting one with suspension?

    the anti rotating bit may have failed/undone. get it looked at.
