Felt frames look great, looking forward to build and pics ....
  • Thanks LeeRoy!!! it will be built hopefully within the next couple of weeks, got all the parts ready, just didnt have time on RnR, im leaving here (Afghan) in hopefully 6 weeks, i've got the ARX team stem now in the right size, I caught Will Frisckorn who I got the frame off at the right time and also the Dorico seat post also in the team colours so im pretty happy with that, hopefully get some rides out of it before the winter hack has to come out!!! I might to the Horseshoe hill climb on it, see how it flys!!

I have also a ARX team stem in the Garmin colours in 90mm and 130mm if anyone wants em' brand new?

  • I love felt bikes and was waiting for the 2011 models, i wish i hadn't now as the prices have jumped up so much,

    2010 F3 was £2500

    2011 F3 now £3800 :(

i still like them ou dont see many around
  • I think its because they all have been pretty much re-built for 2011, but the price hike is preeeettty steep regardless, thats why im so chuffed to have mine because its a team edition they have been uber careful building it and all in it hasnt cost me as much to get it, as a new one would be. Ive also got an 2007 F55 which is fab did Lands End - John O'Groats on it no probs also. Just gotta keep low, move fast, fight hard and get home to build the thing now........

The K Edge chain watcher is a good thing, it saves you losing the Tour and wrecking your frame in my case!

I see you have the Gruber Assist plugged in on charge ;)

Not normally a Felt fan but that looks very smart indeed. Love the matt finish.

Very nice indeed. Almost makes me want to go back out just for the Op Allowance and LSA so I can spend it in a similar fashion!!

    Why such an insane increase?
  • Felt have decided to sell though Wiggle, really bad idea, getting parts are a royal pain in the hoop to get hold of, my LBS was a Felt dealer, they cancelled his dealership because of wiggle. Nap the gruber will be plugged in for a while, been of the bike for 6 months!!!!!

Sorry Neil, forgot to add...Nice Bike! :)

What Unit are you with fella? I left 7 years ago now.
  • I normally hate Felt bikes, as I fell they are rather drab looking, but thats is a very nice bike!

You have done a very good job matching the finishing kit to the frame!
  • lol rapper, im in 1 MERCIAN the old 22nd Cheshire Regiment, thanks Squill the finishing kit came from Garmin, not sure if you can buy the blue 3T kit, think the stem might change went to the Jonny Helms TT, back is sore, proberly my flexibility but the stem might be a touch low

  • Hi,

My Felt F1 sprint garmin team frame (approx. 2011 - bought in May 2012 at Merlin Cycles in UK) was stolen 2 nights ago. The insurance company, here in Denmark, request a stamped frame number to pay out a insurance compensation. Do any body know what a stamped frame number at a Felt F1 Garmin Team frame look like? (e.g. TZ 235X - or some thing totally different).

    Best wishes
