We have a front mech stuck in our letterbox, and we can't get it out.

I would suggest that the best way to address the situation is stamp your authority on it. Has the mech got a chain (letter) attached?FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
