We have a front mech stuck in our letterbox, and we can't get it out.

Anyone have a personal mobile number or home phone number and/or home address for Donald Brydon ?

Or should I be contacting Moya Green ?

    Neither.

Hmm, tricky, I suspect this might not be a simple open and shut matter....

    The OH nearly went postal.
  • Sounds like a simple case of properly adjusting the limit screws on the door.

Is that a south african letterbox?

To be frank, I'd have been stamping my feet in anger - I need to address my lack of control.

If I could only find the remote for the door, I could switch it to 4 by 3.

not what you expected when you ordered some 'gear'
  • can you not just use the door chain?

I'm really not getting this. If the bike is neither outside or inside the door, is it in the letterbox too?

It's just a quantum bicycle. Have a good look at it; the wave function will collapse (hopefully not taking the letterbox with it) and the bike will ping back into reality...

Aaah, took me a while. :D

I would suggest that the best way to address the situation is stamp your authority on it. Has the mech got a chain (letter) attached?

I think I see where you're coming from. It's a Shimano MTB mech, so it needs a long pull.

Do you reckon Campy Veloce would shift it ?

Well, if you send me a few rolloffs - might as well send whole bikes - I could design you a rolloff brifter. I guess the market would stand a price of - say - $1000. That might be way too low. We could gold-plate it or make it out of unobtainium, so that more well-heeled rolloff owners can clearly identify their merely mittelstand same-branders.

There is actually a gold plated one!
