As the cold winters nights draw in my mind is turning to staying warm on the commute. So what 3/4 bib shorts are the current leaders in the Bike Radar massive's opinion?

Endura FS260?
Assos
Santini?

Happy to pay up to £80.

  • Endura pro bib 3/4, very very comfortable, cost a bit more but worth it.

I got some Descente 'cold out' 3/4 for about £35 on wiggle. They have been excellent so far!

I've got apair of the Assos, but never really got the concept of 3/4 before. Warm thighs, freezing cold shins and calves :?
Anyway, have you had a look at Etxeondo? I've got a pair of their bibtights and a pair of shorts and they are super comfy. Prendas have a pair for £80 . The chamois is very comfy - same as the one in their bibshorts http://www.prendas.co.uk/details.asp?typ=mfc&fkid=2&ID=2677

I have Assos... Very good, too.
But having recently started using Shutt VR pro bibshorts, I'd recommend their 3/4 knicks, as they use the same insert, which is superb.
