I just been out with the dog, went passed the pub. It seems that this Soccer thing pays dividends through the winter,
* Beer - Check
* Warmth - check
* Dry - check
* No mud - check
* no silly waterproofs/lights/mudgaurds - Check

  • I have been out on the bike tonight. Muddy, smelly, bike to clean, but home in time to go to the pub and and nice big grin on the face from a job well done.........

    Football playing in the winter is pretty crap. Watching football in a pub in the winter is pretty much like being in the pub.

    Just go to the pub :wink:

    There is nothing good about football, except that it keeps the uneducated masses off my trails.

    So you've just confused watching with doing, well done.
