Ordering some new stoppers today and debating 5-6 sets.
What are the model of these ?
I'm torn at the moment between
M665
M775
Formula Oro bianco
Hope M4
Hope mini.
Any advice/thoughts welcome on the above.
the M665 new on Ribble is looking good... but have an offer in on some M775's on here... and 3-4 pairs of various on ebay being watched.

Id go Formula all the way - build quality seems a lot better than some others.
The ORO is outdated now - go for some R1s to add to the mix0 -

TBH i'm tainted from Avids due to the lever travel on all the Juicy 3/5's i've tried... also the sodding ridiculous bleeding system,not to mention the rubbishy pad system LOL.
Been there, done them and they've never felt great.

I have a set of m775 brakes and highly recommend them. Lots of stopping power and lots of modulation. Reliability has been good, I've been running 2 sets and the older one is over 2 years old now. Apart from changing worn brake pads and cleaning a sticky piston I have not had to touch them at all. Bleeding was very straight forward, I paid loads of money for the Shimano bleed kit, but you really don't need to for these brakes.
What's the price difference between the m665 and m775? If you can save a few £ I'd go for the m665 its pretty much the same brake.0 -
Weeksy - the Elixir is defo a step up from the Juicy range - they've improved it all round.0

They've fixed all of these, every set of elixirs i've tried have been faultless.
Lever travel setable to taste (depending on model)
Bleed system is the same, but works okay due to different routing.
Now got top-loading pads.0 -

That's why i check on here before buying random things as no-one said "they're geat,buy them" i never.
Blokey on here with the M775's seems to have gone quiet... i thought we may strike a deal but not sure now lol.

My personal tasete is go Formulae, or any of the others bar hopes.
I think Hope make awsome headsets, hubs and bearing parts and so on, But i feel there brakes just aren't as good as the rest in terms of ultimate stopping power and pure reliability.
Haven't heard personally yet of many people complaining about the Formulae brakes, and heard alot of good about SLX brakes at the moment.0 -

Theres a pair of M775's on here for £110 (hopefully £100) without rotors (his are CL's).

Oro's are still a decent brake - my k18's have been faultless
I'd try and get a set of Formula RX0 -

The catalogue in the background of the first photo shows the brake with a different sticker on it.

The Info Sheet mentions the calliper with adjustable pistons on page 5 and it shows the differences on the levers of the different models.
