Is there much difference between the ride quality of these two tyres? I notice they are the same weight. Are the 4 seasons any easier to fit? Which are more durable?

I have been using Ultra Gatorskins for about 12 months, constantly... No problems so far... No p*nctures, roll well, grip well...
Not tried 4 Seasons, but I will be buying more Gatorskins, though...

  • I have used Gatorskins for years. All year round. All weathers.
  • I have 25mm Conti Gatorskin folding on both my road bikes all year round. No problem to fit, roll as well as any other Conti tyre I've tried and so far after over 3500 km no punctures.

Has anyone tried the Hardshell Versions?
  • I've had punctures on Gatorskins, but less than I would expect on normal tyres. Depends what you want em for, but for me they are essential on a commuter / hack.
