commuting tyres?

I use normal road tyres (eg Gatorskins, Hutchison Quartz) for commuting, but occasionally sense the grip in London isn't all it might be on wet roads. Can anyone give my ideas for somethign more appropriate?

    You'll be sacrificing puncture protection and longevity for grip though as better traction requires softer rubber.

    Part of the problem is the large amount of ironworks and lines - always dodgy in the wet.

    Krylion Carbons struck me as having a decent amount of grip, but never had the best PF resistance with me on board.

    I use Vredstein Fortezza's they have been the best tyres for balance between wet grip and puncture resistance I have ever used, I run them at 120psi if you race you can go up to 170psi if your rims will take it :)
