I've been sliding around a bit in the wet over the weekend. As I'm a bit of an amateur I was wondering if there are certain types of rubber/tyre that grip better than others?
Any advice welcome...

Expensive rubber always grips better than cheap (asian sourced mostly) tyres that don't really grip well in UK conditions once it gets chilly.

Continental Grand Prix 4 Seasons - very grippy in all conditions, and suitable for commuting - i.e. a 'tough' but light race tyre.
  • Thanks for the tips! I'll look in to it.
