Having just purchased a set of Hope Pro 2 SP's with XR400 rims, could i change the normal QR on the front to a 9mm QR for a sturdier axle? (i have 09 Reba SL's)
Second question...where do i get a 9mm QR from? Adaptors are easy peasy.

Also can the back be done? I have Spesh FSR XC and have noticable flex on front and rear....although that may be the std hubs and rims rather than caused by the std QR setup.4 wheels bad

I believe you can do a thicker qr that should stiffen them both up, 9mm qr front and 10mm rear, you can get them here0

Let me know how you get on with the 10mm rear. I have the 9mm front RWS on my Stumpy with some new Hope hoops on their way. They have the standard QR on the rear, but could be tempted to get a 10mm RWS if they make a difference2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp

ive replaced my front and rear with 9mm and 10mm and its well worth it.
i have a meta 5 and the rear end has a lost less flex with the 10mm thru axle. and for 7,99 you cant go wrong. front tracks better too
get some!!
hubs are well easy to sort out too especially the front0
