I may be well behind the times here but i was walking the dog up at Haldon Forest yesterday and noticed there is a lot of building work going on so thought i'd do a little research;

Are things looking up for Haldon or wil they keep it as a tame family destination?

    The pump track and skills area are going to be a nice addition....but....it's going to be aimed mainly at kids and families.

    Saying that it'll be worth a few gos outside the busy times.

    I quite interested in the comments about how much money they are ploughing into Haldon and the south west, another cafe if I read it right?

    From what I gather about £7.5m is being invested into SW MTB. This includes a pump track in Plymouth and a dedicated trail centre (no idea where).

    Not sure if the work at Haldon is included but there certainly seems to be a lot going on around the region.
