focus fatboy 2010 vs specialized rockhoper SL 2011

Hey guys, i´m a newbie lookin for a final tip. Looked the focus fatboy 2010 with slx and xt, with a good price, and the 2011 rockhoper SL from specialized. I´m in mexico and both bikes are almost the same price, and really need a good advice and comments about both brands and qualities.

    The Focus has the better fork and groupset so that would be my choice...will they be mail order ? or can you try them ? if the later do so....as you may like the Spesh as it feels better.......if not IMO the Focus takes it

  • The GF got a FatBoy last week (not me, the bike) and i must say its pretty good. Feels planted and steady etc.

    Was a little worried when she said she had bought one from wiggle, but its a good bike imho.

    And wiggle are good to, one of the levers on the Poplock had broke in transit, they sent another in the post the next day.
