Carrying a Carradice

How do you carry a Carradice saddlebag round when you take it off the bike? I've just got a Nelson longflap, and I'm not going for the SQR option as I have a carbon seatpost - a carrying handle seems a glaring omission. Any tips?

I attach mine to a Bagman QR, and have a handle that I made from a quickdraw loop and 2 3mm delta maillon radpides

Thanks for that ssuggestion - it sounds just what I need. (I'm glad you attached a link to a picture, I didn't understand a word of your description!)

These Altura handles could be used on Carradice bags, you could either screw it to the wooden dowel directly or bolt/rivet it to the leather straps. I have one on my Barley saddlebag but attached differently due to the other modifications I made to the bag.

Your not supposed to, the stuff you can't live without is meant to go in the barbag which has a q.r. and a shoulder strap.
