Hi ive just joined a cycling club and i am after a cheap road bike im 5'8 and am in need of a 56cm frame. Any offers would be appreciated

    You joined a cycling club without a bike? Or did they frown on your goat with a saddle on?

    56cm sounds a bit big for 5' 8 - are you sure you've thought this through..?

    Im 5"8 and ride a 53 cm so that sounds way too big

    53cm or 54cm is more usual for someone of that height.

    Perhaps someone in the cycling club has a suitable bike.

    Just another comment on the 56cm sounding too big to me also. I would agree a 53 or 53cm sounds more likely. My dad is 5'9 and rides a 54cm. I am a tad over 5'11 and ride a 56cm.
