Hi there. I've got a pair of Ksyrium Elites that are about five years old. Currently running these with 9 speed ultegra with no problems. I'm about to switch to 10 speed sram and was wondering if theres a way I can work out if the rear hub is 9 or 10 speed compatable (markings etc.) If it isn't, is there any way that it can be coverted or would I need to swap the hub or worse, find a new 10 speed wheel?
Cheers
Rob

No problem running 10 speed on a 9 speed freehub - you'll just need to fit a spacer behind the biggest sprocket as a 10 speed cassette is narrower. Your LBS should be able to help with the spacer.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Buy a 10sp cassette and it should come with the 10sp spacer.

Your Mavic hub should already have a Mavic spacer - to run 10sp on it you'll need both

    Been covered before - see http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12660478
