Hi again,
Finally got out on my new bike (scott scale 35) on Saturday but with the risk of not getting a puncture as I didn't carry any tubes with me...Just having a look at what tubes but I'm getting confused with all the different sizing. The rims are DT Swiss 445d, what tube will fit? Is it a Presta or a Schrader as standard?

If it looks like a car valve, it's Schrader. If it has a little screwy thing on the top it's Presta

Pretty much any 26 inch mountain bike tube will work.

    Schrader:

    Presta

    Just under £6 a pair.

  • Nothing too special all you need is 26 x width of tire. The width always comes in groupings, so 1.75 to 2.25 or something in one set than larger on another set. Just check which size tire you have, and find a tube that has that number as the width of the tube.

Looks ok. The 'zoom' of the box in the pic states 26x1.5/2.2 so should cover whatever tyre you have (Rocket Rons?)

Did you go presta or schraeder?

I checked quickly at my LBS website and it seems the Scott Scale 35 in the picture uses Presta tubes...

Nice bike by the way!... Pics?
