height adjustable seatpost what works the best

if its alright to use a qr seatclamp with maybe an alloy seatpost and re-grease whenever needed. or best go for a gravity dropper or that one sold by superstar components,needs to be 27.2 reviews are a bit mixed so difficult to know what to choose

    May help to say what you want it for, to give people a few more ideas as to what to suggest!

    I have been thinking about a gravity dropper, but have been put off them a bit by a combination of cost and lack of variable control- yes they do different heights but I think its harder to make subtle changes!

    for jumps and downhill technical stuff i think. and then pop the seatpost back up for going uphill

    any seat post works well.

    it depends on how much money you have and how lazy you are.
