:( God I'm old

Step-Daughter is at Reading Festival and just texted that she's waiting for Guns N Roses to come on.

Suddenly realised that I saw Guns N Roses in 1987 - a year before she was born

So you can now legally shag someone half your age.

Just think - when you're 48, you can legally shag someone a 1/3 of your age!

Methinks that at eighty the shag imperative will be a tad diminished.....

    I'm 36

Recently I was back in the library of the my old university.

The girl's there were probably not born when I was a first year student.

    A shocking realisation

Not as shocking as the first time you go for a haircut and the girl cutting your hair asks if you want 'something done about your eyebrows'

It's a bit pants when I say to my cadets "when I was your age"

It suddenly maked you feel like an old fart.

Even worse is when you tell them you had left high school when they were born...it was only 15 years ago for havens sake :cry::cry:

    35 years old - three kids, 2 x 1st wife and 1 x the current Mrs Gtvlusso....And a a dog!

    What the f*ck happened?! I had my midlife crisis @ 26 when I bought a Porsche 911 and a Suzuki GSXR1000 motorbike......

I lived and worked in Italy, Israel, USA and Canada....now live and work in an office in a suburb of Bristol!

So much for the jetset lifestyle....the aspirations and the dreams, although having kids is the best thing ever and I love them to bits!

Hopefully I can help them to find out what they want before they get stuck under flourescent lighting and own a Tesco clubcard.....

    2 x 1st wife? Nice bigamy.

I was chagrined to discover on the TV show "Grumpy Old Men" that said title is bestowed on gentlemen from 35.

Other definers of age: It's longer since I lost my virginity that between birth and said event; and realising I now need to tick the "35-49" box when asked my name on forms.

It's a bit irrtiating when people on Twitter bemoan they're soon going to be 24 omg so ancient. Although, when I was 23 I remember saying to a work colleague "it's okay, I'm still young" and being told "hmm, you're not *that* young".

It's also a decade since I could apply for young person's railcard, and 12 years since I slipped out of Radio 1's target demographic.

However, I have never broken the "half your age + seven" rule about the minimum age of your intended bedroom partner.

A month ago I got my hair cut at a different barbers.....

Without asking, just after he'd strimmed my now thickly matted ear hair - yes readers - you've guessed it....

He swiftly and deftly mowed my eyebrows!

    I am 98 you know.

    I'm 98

I'm fitter in my mid 40s than I ever was in my 20s/30s but its my reading eyesight that is dying on me :?

Young women are not all they're cracked up to be - went out with a 30 yo a few months back and she was complete brain-damage! The 44 yo I have now is absolutely spot on and so much more relaxed - prettier & fitter too :D

Hey your birth year and username are the same!

    How unlikely is that?

I'm 68 by the way, would you like some tea?
