Good Evening Ladies and Gentleman,
While in my parents shed the other day i realised i could build a complete bike (hardtail) without buying anything except a suitable frame.
I've decided i quite fancy a steel (as ti is too expensive) single speed for bombing around l'don and off road when i venture further afield. Does anyone have any recommendation for such a frame?

ps. it needs to be suitable for 130mm forks... thanks :-)

Alloy though, but it's cheap and supports a decent amount of travel.
Also the On-One 456 is cheap, but again, alloy. Also has less travel.0 -
Preeeeeeety sure the OneOne456 is steel.0

I was under the impression that a single speed needed h'dropouts?! I don't particularly want a chain tensioner as a rear mech.'Ride hard for those who can't.....'0
