.... from Lidl!
I was very impressed with these, what a simple but great idea!
They snap on to the spokes.

The Lidl promotion was alright actually. The track pump for £5 can't be beaten.0 -

I went to LIDL last night after seeing this thread. Not a single cycling item in the whole store. This was Tooting branch.
I want these spokey jobs for the winter.
grrr :evil:Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur0 -
I got mine from Germany last year, got another couple of packs from Lidl yesterday
Here they are on the Roadrat
After a few months they get dirty but still reflect fairly well0 -
Absolutely oodles of them in West Ealing, in fact tons of cycling stuff altogether. There's always loads there and it takes ages to go.0

Old Kent Road? Streatham?
To be honest, if I can't get them just round the corner I might as well pay the extra to buy them online. Time is money peopleNot climber, not sprinter, not rouleur0 -
I've been posting about mine the last few days, paid more online and I'm impressed the Lidl ones are official 3M scotchlight! Might pick up another pack if I come across a lidl...

Nice to know, will be off down Uxbridge Rd. tomorrow to get some for my girlfriend's bike & mine0 -
I don't think 9 per wheel will be enough, was hoping to use 1 pack for both bikes. Looks like another Lidl visit tomorrow.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

A driver just slowed to let me out of a side road when I really wasn't expecting it. I wonder whether it might have been my new sparkly spokes in the half-light....0
-
Went with 8 per wheel on the Tricross, 4 at the rim, 4 at the hub alternating. Turned the lights off, spun the wheel and hit record on the cameraphone.

Might stil grab another pack and chop a few down.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Still loads at the West Ealing branch..... if anybody needs a set I don't mind picking some up on the way to work (central London)Car? Scooby....
Motorbike? Ninja....
Bike? Sirrus or the XTC0 -
I thought these might be a good idea, but after watching Redvee's video, I'm off to Lidl.
Gonna have to work out a funky pattern optimised for cruising speed.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
FCN 9: B Twin Vitamin - winter commuter/loan bike for trainees
I'm hungry. I'm always hungry!0 -
Patterns are there to be developed. Still going for another packet and chopping them down. Bear in mind my video was virtually side on, not all traffic encounters will be as direct as the video.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

That just means that cars at further from the perpendicular won't see the pretty patterns, they will just see bright reflectionsFCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future

They are awsome, got four packs and have done all the bikes including my six year old's Islabike - we were late in the garage with head torches! Hahaha! Great fun. Bring on the dark evenings! Oh hell, can I take that last bit back?FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

I'll still give my locals (Tooting, Balham and Streatham) a try tomorrow just in case.0 -
8 per wheel?
