Oh the irony! (A brief tale from the streets of Coulsdon)

Let me set the scene: A couple of lads waiting at a bus stop on the otherside of the road. They see me cycling past.

One shouts
"Get a car!"

Regardless of whether they were of car-driving age or not the irony still hurts my insides days after.

Probably just me though.

Aah the good old number nine bus, cheap reliable transport for the poor and the very poor alike.
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
    Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

    ...or a bike.

Your sarcasm hurts me more than the irony previously felt.
