Both bikes are Norco and i was just wondering is the first of the two worth the extra £150? and which bits would you reccomend i updrage first forks, brakes or something less obvious to a newb such as cranks?

Cheers

Silly question why would you consider buying a bike that you will want to upgrade ? wouldn't it be easier to spend more and get the spec you want ?

Otherwise buy the cheaper as the forks between the two are probably the difference

i dont want to upgrade it, i just want to know if the latter is worth £150 less and which part would be the weakest link as it were.

    Sorry now a bit confused.....

If you can see if you have a local stockist and try them out to see what feels best for you....at the end of the day your the one that will be riding it...

No local places i know of that are stockists, i wanted to know if there is a big difference in the specs of the two and to get some feedback on the components i.e if the first bikes fork would be reccomended whereas i might be told to avoid the second bike due to a terrible set of forks

sorry if ive made a simple request confusing :p

Not sure about DJ bikes would say the Marzo's are slightly better forks though have just seen the Havoc for £450 (S or M) http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/produ ... _Bike_2010 so to me the better buy and you have £300 for upgrades and trick parts...you will have to collect it though..so depends where you live !

Also will I be able to put on pegs or will the disc brake be in the way?
