Morning
Whats the white grease that seems to be used on every bearing / axle requirement. Just seen it used on the WMB DVD guides in the new mag. Need some for my Epicon GLOC axle as it's dry.
Cheers

there is grease call white grease which is bike grease, but any cycle grease will do."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I don't know if most bikes just use generic white grease, but Marin reccomend using Molycote 111 on their bearings/pivot assembly, which is just trouser-brown-mess-inducingly expensive.
Luckily, I have "found" some. I'm going to have to replace the bushing on the fox float before long, so the whole lot will have to be re-greased I guess.0 -
Lithium grease is to be avoided for most bike applications. Only really any good in bearings. Static stuff, do not use.0
