Nearest Train Station to Lee Quarry

As in the title really, just lost the use of the car and still wanted to get out and ride, seeing as there's nothing locally thought i'd head up to Lee Quarry. Train will probably be the best option so just wondered where i was best getting off and how far away Lee Quarry is from there. Thanks

    Todmorden is probably the closest but there's a nasty road climb in between. Rose Grove in Burnley might be better, about six miles at a guess but less climbing, come in on Rossendale road to Rawtenstall then up the valley or you could ride up onto Crown Point hill and ride down the Mary Townley loop for a bit of off road riding.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
