South to North Wales off road route

Anyone got a route looking to go from Newport to Conwy off road. I found a trail for walkers a while ago but google is playing tricks on me...Need to convince a few mates it would be a good idea but need to see it first

    That would be one heck of a ride. rode 80 mile Cwmbran to Brecon and did not want to look at the bike for a week.

    how did you manage to make that 80 miles? You nutter!

    Anyway, Sarn Helen is a long distance path / bridleway that does Swansea way to oop North. It's not complete though.

    Canal route 40 mile each way really boring but a mate of mine likes the easier stuff :roll:

    Well, as I had to tell somebody the other day who hadn;t grasped that North and South Wales are... different places.
    It only takes me 2 hours more to drive to Glentress, than it does to drive to Swansea.
    Riding it would be bonkers, but good luck!
