Hot off the press. A pretty impressive line up.

Andy Schleck, Menchov, Samuel Sánchez y Van den Broeck; más Purito Rodríguez (8º) y Kreuziger (9º) will ride the Vuelta this year. Also Frank Schleck.

Sastre, Igor Antón, Mosquera, David Arroyo, Pereiro y Nibali eill also ride.

But Contador will definitely not ride.

    Andy Schleck - Will ride in support of Frank
    Menchov - Will just do his thing towards the top of the GC
    Samuel Sánchez - Stage wins, maybe GC
    Van den Broeck - Practice at a GT
    Purito Rodríguez - Will go for the top 10, then mountain wins, maybe the KOM
    Kreuziger - Working with NIbbles
    Frank Schleck - I'd put him as favourite for the win at this stage. The rest have had a GT in their legs this year
    Sastre - Who knows, one final flourish?
    Igor Antón - Has to impress this year
    Mosquera - Usual September-ness
    David Arroyo - Will try to live up to the Giro like Le Mevel tried to live up to the Tour 2009
    Pereiro - Complete unknown at this stage
    Nibali - Will push Schleck far.

    Don't forget the Schlecks both started the Vuelta last year too. They hardly set the race alight - Andy lasted 8 days and Frank lasted 10. Who knows if either of them are any more interested this year?
