Hi all,

I've recently purchased a Cannondale Synapse Hi Mod and I love it.....however I need to adjust the saddle to tilt the nose down slightly but am unable to do so.
It has just one bolt through the seatpost which holds the saddle in place. I've undun this and am only able to move the saddle from front to back but am unable to tilt it :?
Am I being thick and there's another way to do this or is it just very very stiff due to it being a new bike?
Hope someone can shed some light

I have a Deda carbon post with a single bolt. I find I have to loosen it quite a bit before I can adjust both the angle and the fore / aft position of the saddle. The whole thing seems to go really loose, but it perversely still requires quite a bit of jiggling, cajoling and swearing to a) get it to move in the first place, and b) stay where I want it while tightening it back up again.

Things were a lot easier with the alloy post on the mtb.

Just undo the bolt a bit more, then you should be ok. There's a sort of lug that you need to free to tilt it but not to move it back and forward
