Camapg 10sp Chorus chainset with 11spd chain ?

Hi

Currently running 11spd Chorus.
For a few days I want to swap my standard Chorus 11spd chainset over and use my compact Chorus 10spd chainset. (trip to the alps)
Will it work ok ?
All I can think is if the teeth on the 10spd rings are different to 11spd then it will affect the chain.
What do you reckon ?

    Probably - 10 speed is designed for 5.9mm chain whereas 11 speed chain is 5.5mm wide but chainring width is only 0.1mm narrower - might be noisier at the extremes of the gear ranges though so best avoided i.e. keep chainline straight.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
