Hello,
I have not ridden in some 15 or 20 years and am 69 years old. I have Drop Foot in both of my legs making it impossible to turn my leg out far enough to get out of my recently purchased Keo2 MAX Yellow pedals. Is their a Pedal that is very easy exit or a way to modify my current cleats? Any help would be very appreciated I would really like to ride again.

    Hi, interesting question! All clipless pedals that I can think of use a twisting action to exit. I am guessing you used to-clips and straps previously. SPD pedals can be set to have very weak springs for easy exits. Not nearly as sexy as Look Keo pedals I know but might do the job...

    The Look pedals have an adjustment for that as well but it not enough. My problem started after I stopped riding so I never had to deal with this until now.

    Hi Wayne,

    What about getting some speedplay zeros and just locking the cleats to a zero float. You can adjust the float differently for each for too.

    As soon as I read the problem, I thought about Speedplay Zero. I'm not a fan, but they could be a solution here.

    Or the Look KEOs with black cleats for zero float.
